My heart goes out to Ron & Beth and Pastor & Betty concerning Chris.  I have been on my knees big-time for them.  Just got the news that Chris is going back into surgery due to them not being able to stop the bleeding.

I know that Job 42:2 holds true.  It's hard.  Please be on your knees with me for them.

If you can’t sleep, don’t count sheep. Talk to the Shepherd.

Question we should ask:  What am I doing today to fulfill my purpose (Is 43:7,10 - To glorify the Lord and the get to know Him more)?

If I am not fulfilling my purpose, then I am wasting time.

One more thought:  "Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." Jas 4:4

1 ¶ He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.

4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,

6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.

8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.

9 ¶ Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.

12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation."   (Ps 91)

Hey, peeps!  Long time no long on.  Sorry about that.  (or maybe that has been okay with everyone)  Well, anyway, I thought I would trty again to get back into the swing of things and get mare involved with you guys.

Things have been so very crazy in my life.....my dad coming to know the Lord and then going to BE with the Lord (he beat me to Him!)...then rushing my mom to the Er...then my mom's sister dying last night....on top of all that work has been unbelievable!  But at least it is work and I am not unemployed!  and in the midst of all that, planning for the congregational meeting (there is a lot involved to get ready for that).  Mind you I am not complaining, just letting you know that I have barely had time to breathe.

And as you can see, I do not have time to proof-read either :)

Love you all... until next time....unless Robert keep beating me up every night!

Thank you for all your prayers!!!!!  We had a very rough day/night yesterday.  The Cardiologist told us yesterday at 6:45pm that Dad would not make it through the night.  Our hearts were heavy, yet the Lord strengthened me so that I could minister to the rest of my family.  It was not my strength, but the Lord's.  Yet, in my heart, like you, Tiff, had a peace that passes all understanding.  I know that I will see my Dad in Heaven.

Well, after the Doctor told us that, we wanted to make Dad feel as comfortable as possible.  So, we removed the O2 mask, since it was really uncomfortable to Dad, but it was giving him the O2 he needed.  The Doctor said that his stats would drop dramatically if we took off the O2 mask.  But we could tell Dad wanted it off.  Well, we took it off and his stats did not change!  He could not talk much.  He is still with us!  At one time in the night, my Dad told me that he loved me!  He has only told me that once.  That was so cool!

He had a rough night last night.  Pastor had come up around 11pm and read Scripture and prayer for/with him.  Dad seemed peaceful.  Well the rest of the night was rough for him.  But Paul, my brother, asked him, "Dad, all you have to do is ask Jesus in your heart and He will take you home to heaven.  Do you want that?"  Dad said yes.  I truly believe that he trusted Christ.

I saw Dad again this morning and he looked exhausted.  He asked me "Why is this happening".  He is struggling.  My heart goes out to him as he is in so much pain/discomfort.  But I know that Job 42:2 holds true.  Nothing can thwart His will.

.......just got a call from my brother....we think Dad is going to let go and not fight anymore.  We'll see.  I am at peace.  There is a peace that passes all understanding.  Why?   because I know that our God is in control.  He loves us.  Rom 8:28 is true.  All Scripture is true, therefore we can have His peace, trusting in Him.  As Job said, "Blessed be the Lord God!"

We thought Dad was gone 5 or 6 times over these last 2 weeks.  It have been an emotional roller coaster, but God is still at work.  Thank you for all your prayers!
